Fishing Reports

Photo's from Tony Orton-capt on Forby 094  Greetings from the crew of the Billistic.  Our spring fishing has been wonderful so far.  This is a great time of year to fish in South Florida.  There are a great variety of species available on any given day.  Smoker King Mackerels up to 40 lbs. have been around in the last week.  Sailfishing has been good.   Blackfin tuna have been plentiful, but on the smaller side.  The larger tunas generally show up here in the next few weeks, and we are looking forward to catching them.   Shark and wreck fishing continue to be strong.  Hammerhead sharks are mostly being caught with an occasional tiger, mako, and thresher. Large Amberjacks have been biting very well on the artificial reefs.  The mahi are starting to show up more consistently.  This should get better over  the next few months.  The weather has been beautiful and we hope to see you aboard the Billistic very soon for a first class fishing adventure.
